Community Challenge

In 2024, Club Taree and the Club Taree Community Team said farewell to Le Tour de Taree, our signature fundraising event that defined the last decade of community-driven support. For ten years, this initiative inspired teamwork, camaraderie, and generosity, raising significant funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW. We concluded this incredible chapter in the most memorable way, bringing together our community for one final record breaking effort, raising an unprecedented $191,000 in our last year.

While we closed this chapter, we knew our journey of giving back was far from over. We wanted to honour the legacy of Le Tour de Taree, the impact we’ve built, the relationships we’ve fostered, and the spirit of generosity that has defined our efforts by evolving into something even greater.

The next chapter begins in 2025. We proudly introduce the Club Taree Community Challenge.

An initiative designed to capture the best elements of our past fundraising efforts while broadening our reach across different sectors of the community.

This annual challenge will be a powerful force for local change, supporting multiple organisations and causes each year.

We’re bringing together the most beloved aspects of Le Tour de Taree and the historic Club Taree Mental Health Challenge, combining their strengths to form a new era of community engagement, support, and impact.

Each year, the Club Taree Community Challenge will dedicate its fundraising efforts to benefit three key recipients:

Two Local Community Organisations – This could include charities, sporting clubs, associations, community projects, or grassroots initiatives that make a difference in the Manning region.

The Club Taree Community Team – Funds allocated here will be used to support various local initiatives, smaller charities, and projects throughout the year.

At the end of the fundraising period, the total funds raised will be equally divided among these three recipients, ensuring a broad and meaningful impact across our community.
